COLLYCROFT ROYAL OAK WARRIORS FC v DELPH RANGERS FC

COLLYCROFT TOO MUCH FOR DELPH RANGERS ASTHEY BOOK A PLACE IN THE 4th ROUND.

Collycroft Royal Oak Warriors are through to Round 4 of the BIRMINGHAM FA - ROGER WOOD MEMORIAL CUP, after beating Delph Rangers FC of the KIDDERMINSTER & DISTRICT SUNDAY LEAGUE , Premier Division.

Collycroft opened the scoring when Jack Burchell got on the end of a Joe Smith through ball to finish neatly. Not long after Daniel Cassidy latched on the end of a rebound to make it 2-0.

The second half saw Delph pull one back from the spot when a challenge from James Ritson was deemed a foul and the referee awarded the penalty which Delph converted for 2-1.

Collycroft then took control of the game with Daniel Cassidy’s creative work causing the Delph defence all sorts of problems, none more so than when he beat a defender to set up Jordan Mulvihill to make it 3-1.

With the Oak on top it was not long before Daniel Monger played in Taylor Blyth who made no mistake in netting Collycroft’s 4th.

The scoring was completed when Cassidy received the ball short from a corner and floated a cross over to the far post for James Ritson to head home.
Job well done and name in the hat for Round 4 in January.

DANIEL CASSIDY took the man of the match today with a goal and 2 assists in a very dominant display.

Well done to Collycroft Royal Oak Warriors FC.
