MATCH DAY 19 (JANUARY 7th 2024) REPORT.

CRAWFORD HITS 8 AS PARKER'S STROLL TO VICTORY !

Kyle Crawford scored 8 goals for Frank Parker as they dismantled Poplar Athletic 11-0 at The Nuneaton Academy, in the NDSFL PREMIER LEAGUE. Sahel Yessen’s brace and a Josh Thompson strike completed the scoring for Parker’s.

Griff and Coton Manor picked up a much needed win as they travelled to Ambleside. Josh Jarman and Andrew Walden with the goals in a 2-1 win. Charlie Stockton scored the Ambleside goal.

Barwell Cricketers strengthened their position in 2nd in the NDSFL LEAGUE ONE as they overcame Ambleside Reserves 4-3. A brace for James Graham and a goal a piece for Connor Beasley and Matt Pratt was enough to secure the points for the Barwell side. Gary Twigger, Brad Steptoe and Lee Wilkins were on target for Ambleside.

Desford-Caterpillar beat Chetwynd Phoenix 4-0 thanks to 2 Noel Gilbert goals and singles from Brandon Hope and Sam Blower.

A hat-trick from Harvey Westwood saw Bedworth Ex-Serviceman pick up 3 points over Swan Dive in MARK BLAIR FINANCE LEAGUE TWO. Ethan Baynham and Mitchell Harris added the others as the game finished 5-1. Will Crowder scored the Swan Dive reply.

Bedworth Bank picked up a helpful 2-0 win over Attleborough Sports in their push for the top 3 in NUNEATON TROPHIES LEAGUE THREE Elliott Harris and David Hewitt with the goals.

Over at Heath Lane Academy, the points were shared as the match between Earl Shilton Town and Weddington Athletic finished a 0-0 stalemate.

The NDSFL sides have been excelling in the County Cup competitions this season, and that bright form continued today as Steven Pywell’s hat-trick saw Bermuda Park progress to round 4 of the BIRMINGHAM COUNTY FA AMATEUR CUP in a 3-2 win over Haven FC.

Over in the LEICESTERSHIRE FA COUNTY SUNDAY TROPHY, Hinckley Wanderers booked their place in the semi finals with a 3-2 win of their own over Epworth Forest Old Boys. Goals coming from Mitch Elson, Bradley Moore and Bradley Ball.
