Peter Edwards the 18 year old son of Ian Edwards the Secretary of Ellwood F C was killed in a car crash at Coleford in the Forest of Dean on Wednesday 2nd March 2005.

Peter has played regularly for the successful Ellwood F C team in the County League this Season and a member of the team which has reached the Semi-Final of the G F A Trophy and the Les James Cup.He played for the G F A Youth at Under 16 level and in the U/18 Team of Cinderford Town.
