August Report and Tables 2015-16

With almost a full month of fixtures during August, I am able to produce a meaningful set of tables to see how the season has started for Respect. However I have excluded the Reserve Sections due to the small number of games played.

Steady start to the season, although dissent (C2) offences continue to give the League concerns. The worse cases are in Division 1 where some clubs seem unable to control their players actions and whilst it is early days, they will need to show huge improvements in the coming weeks.

Only two Bench Incidents to report - although two too many! Clubs are reminded that if Match Officials dismiss anyone from the Bench (technical area), those persons must exit the ground completely by going to the changing rooms, clubhouse or sitting in their car until the match is finished.

Clubs that are shown in the Red, unacceptable, section of the respective tables must make every effort to improve their Respect performances as soon as possible. I will be closely monitoring the worse offenders and will take actions accordingly if no sign of improvement is forthcoming.

Clubs are reminded to ensure that their general conduct is of the highest possible standard and this includes the hosting of visiting teams and officials. Also, away clubs are reminded to ensure that they leave the changing rooms in as tidy a condition as possible and do not allow their players to clean their boots in the showers! The League will support any home club should they make a charge to the visiting club for any extra cleaning of the changing rooms over and above the accepted norm.
