H&W and Saints get through to Cup Final

H&W fought out a tough 2-1 win over first division Maidenhead to make it to the League Cup Final on 17 May. Saints join them for an all Hampshire affair, after needing extra time and pens to secure a win at Aldershot. AET the score was 1-1 but Saints held firm to win 4-2 on pens.

The League Cup Final will be played on Sunday 17 May 2009 at Fareham Town FC. 2pm kick off.

In the Premier Division there were 3 double headers. Bracknell won both against BTC - 5-0 then a closer 2-1.

It was honours even at Shanklin where the scores were 0-0 then 1-1.

Wycombe and Henley battled out a share of the points with Wycombe drawing first blood 3-0, with Henley rallying to a 2-1 win in the second fixture.

In the First Division, Maidenhead vs Reading ladies was played early on Friday 20 March, with Maidenhead narrowly beaten the Ladies by just one goal.

On Sunday, Chesham Res were unable to field a side against Saints Res and will face disciplinary charges.

Banbury and Oxford City Res battled out a nil-nil draw, whilst the Reading Girls lost 1-2 to Oxford Utd.
