Portland United closed the gap on the leaders to two points and have two games in hand following their 2-0 victory against their hosts Chickerell United.
Gillinghham Town moved up into the top three after their 3-0 success against their visitors from Holt with all their goals coming from Dave Pike including one penalty conversion.
Shaftesbury stay in the top half of the league after their 3-0 win against local rivals Sturminster Newton United.
Two sides in the lower regions of the league Blandford United and Wareham Rangers shared the points and two goals with the Royals goal coming from Oliver Wareham.
